Registered Manager - Children's Residential Home (EBD)
Location: Sheffield | Salary: £62,500 - £72,500 per annum
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed and experienced Registered Manager to lead a small, Ofsted-regulated children's home in Sheffield, specialising in care and support for young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
This is a rewarding leadership role within a child-focused organisation that is dedicated to achieving outstanding outcomes for young people with complex needs.
Responsibilities
* Lead the daily operations of the children's home in line with Ofsted and Children's Homes Regulations
* Ensure the delivery of high-quality, therapeutic care to children with EBD and challenging behaviours
* Manage, mentor and develop a team of residential care professionals
* Drive a strong safeguarding culture and ensure full compliance with statutory requirements
* Build and maintain effective partnerships with external agencies, families, and professionals
* Lead Ofsted inspections and work towards achieving a minimum of 'Good' to 'Outstanding' ratings
* Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Registered Manager in a children's home
* Proven experience working with children and young people with EBD and complex needs
* Strong understanding of the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management - Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
