Registered Nursing Associate – General Outpatient Team
We are seeking a full‑time Registered Nursing Associate to join our General Outpatient team at Eastbourne Hospital. The role offers an opportunity to gain experience across a broad range of medical and surgical specialities and to specialise in areas of particular interest.
Key responsibilities
* Work across outpatients to deliver safe, compassionate, person‑centred care while supporting the smooth and efficient running of clinics.
* Contribute to the assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of care, using evidence‑based practice and following relevant local and national policies, protocols and guidance.
* Delegate duties appropriately and support the development and supervision of junior staff, student nurses and trainee Nursing Associates.
* Act with professionalism and integrity, serving as a positive role‑model and promoting equal opportunities.
* Maintain clear and compassionate communication within a multidisciplinary team and adapt care to individual patient needs.
* Flexibly support the needs of the service, including optional weekend work.
Hours & schedule
Core working hours are four days a week, from 8 am to 6 pm, flexibly rostered across Monday to Friday with optional weekend working.
Eligibility and training
Qualified registered Nursing Associate with an active NMC registration.
