Level 2/3 Autism Support Assistant – South Shields
Got experience with autism and a Level 2 or 3 TA qualification? This role in South Shields could be exactly what you’re looking for.
You’ll support pupils who rely on structure, visuals and calm, consistent adults. The team is warm, skilled and brilliant with communication-based approaches.
Your day might include:
• Supporting pupils in sensory-friendly, structured classrooms
• Using communication tools like visuals, schedules and prompts
• Helping pupils regulate emotions and routines
• Engaging in practical, hands-on learning
• Working closely with a supportive multi-disciplinary team
