Overview
To provide high standard of social work for users out of the councils duties and powers under legislation and accordance with divisional and area policy, procedures, guidelines and the Code of Care practice for social workers.
To work as a member of a multidisciplinary team providing professional social work supporting adults with mental health problems in the framework of seven social care outcomes including:
* Improved health and emotional well being
* Improved quality of life
* Making a positive contribution
* Exercising choice and control
* Economic well being and freedom
* Freedom from discrimination
Candidate Profile
* Candidates must have an Enhanced DBS registered on the update service
* Candidates must be registered with HCPC
* Candidates must have completed training in Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults
* Must have at least 2 years experience as a Qualified Social Worker
* Must have experience in working with mental health, vulnerable adults and challenging behaviour
* Excellent understanding in legislation, policies and procedures
* Ability to establish strong working relationships
