SEN Teaching Assistant – 1:1 Support (Bridport)
Full-Time | Monday to Friday | Long-Term Role Starting September 2025
£85–£95 per day | Paid Weekly via PAYE

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Bridport that is seeking a caring and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support to a pupil with special educational needs. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, starting in September 2025 and continuing on a long-term basis.
The role:
* Supporting a pupil on a 1:1 basis to access learning, regulate emotions and reach their full potential.
* Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver individualised support plans.
* Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement through praise, structure and consistency.
* Building strong, trusting relationships with the pupil and wider staff team.
The ideal candidate will:
* Have experience working with children with SEN (particularly autism, ADHD, or SEMH).
* Be patient, empathetic and confident in managing challenging behaviour.
* Be reliable, flexible and committed to helping children succeed.
* Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
