What does a visiting carer do? Roles and Responsibilities not limited to but include

Companionship – Providing friendly company and emotional support

Personal care – Assisting with bathing, dressing and, when necessary, continence support

Medication – Support with administration as and when the customer needs it

Meal preparation – Help with preparing and cooking nutritious meals

Household chores – Assisting with washing and dusting for a clean and tidy home



Requirements

Job Purpose


The Team Leader will be responsible for service user care, through proactive management. They will be managing care for a group of clients, working closely with them, their families and other health care professionals to ensure they receive a quality person -centred service and their needs are met to an outstanding quality.


The Team Leader will also manage a team of care assistance and support workers, being their main point of contact and their team -leader. They will help to develop their care team to reach their full potential identifying talent for progression within the business.


They will possess excellent communication skills.
