NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff across various clinical and non-clinical roles. We provide acute hospital, primary, community, and mental health services to a population of over 1.15 million, expanding to 2.2 million when regional and national services are included.
This is a full-time, permanent position of 37 hours per week, with a shift pattern from Monday to Friday.
The role is within a small finance team. Candidates should be educated to NVQ Level 3 or possess relevant experience. Basic knowledge of accounting practices and good communication skills are essential.
Responsibilities include coding expenditure, reconciling balance sheet accounts, bank reconciliations, handling fund holder inquiries, investigating account issues, and supporting team members.
