Fantastic opportunity for an experienced ANP/ACP in the Barking area, in primary care. This is a GP practice who are now seeking either an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) or an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join their clinical team, within a primary care setting. This is a Lead role, where you will be working closely with the GP team and assisting with the management of Nurses within the practice. You will be employed by the practice on a permanent basis, for up to full time hours. The practice has a main site and also a branch, it will be required that you can work across both sites. The two sites are a few miles apart and can be easily reached using public transport or by driving. The practices also have GPs, Nurses and HCAs on site. You will be seeing patients presenting with acute conditions and supporting the GPs with on the day cases. It is essential that you are a prescriber, and have experience with minor injuries, minor ailments, triage and working autonomously. Key Duties Permanent position in Barking Two sites, working across both the main and the branch Get involved in mentoring of other clinicians in the practice, and an element of management too Working closely with the GPs in the practice for clinical and non-clinical decision making 15 minute consultations On the day presentations, assessing, diagnosing or referring onto other clinicians/services Minor injuries and minor illnesses Prescribing to patients, advising on medications Package and Benefits Band 8a Salary (outer London higher cost supplement) £56,000 - £62,000 depending on experience NHS Pension Continuity of service 6 weeks of annual leave Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements ANP or ACP registered with the UK NMC/HCPC MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice Experience of working in a primary care setting Certified in Minor Injuries and Minor Illnesses Experience of managing or leading a team is ideal What Happens Next?
