An Integration Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and management of solutions connecting various software applications, systems, and data sources to ensure seamless data flow and interoperability. Working with both internal and external development teams to integrate software solutions, automate processes, and troubleshoot integration-related issues. This role aims to drive the Parkwood Ecosystem to become more connected and expand its digital footprint to customers and clients.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design and Implement Integration Solutions:
2. Develop and implement solutions that connect different software platforms and systems, using APIs, middleware, and other technologies.
3. Oversee the maintenance of API connections, working with suppliers to ensure robustness and alignment with business needs.
4. Monitor and improve the performance of third-party APIs, including managing downtime, bugs, and speed issues.
5. Develop and implement the architecture of a digital ecosystem, selecting and integrating digital tools and platforms.
6. Manage end-to-end digital projects, from scoping to deployment.
7. Identify opportunities for digital-driven commercial growth.
Website Platform
* Work with headless CMS platforms like Magnolia to integrate with the wider Parkwood Ecosystem.
* Support the Website Manager role during leave, assisting with daily management.
* Collaborate with WordPress websites and their integrations within the ecosystem.
Data Mapping and Transformation
* Design and execute data mapping and transformation processes for system compatibility.
* Maintain data management strategies ensuring quality, accessibility, and compliance.
* Support database migrations and site mobilizations.
Apps Platform
* Serve as product owner for customer-facing apps, leading ongoing development.
* Drive growth of Parkwood Apps to meet business objectives.
* Manage relationships with app providers and oversee end-to-end app management.
Testing, Troubleshooting, and Support
* Conduct thorough testing during integration to identify issues.
* Provide post-implementation troubleshooting and support.
* Collaborate with third-party vendors to resolve issues.
Stakeholder Management
* Coordinate with development, operations, and other teams to gather requirements and ensure successful integrations.
* Manage third-party relationships to keep projects on track.
* Involve in in-person meetings and occasional travel across the UK.
Documentation
* Maintain detailed documentation of processes, configurations, and custom code.
Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
* Experience with multiple systems in complex organizations, especially via APIs.
* Understanding of data management principles.
* Experience with CMS platforms and apps.
* Proven track record of delivering digital projects.
* Adaptability to new technologies and changing needs.
* Strong communication skills with stakeholders.
* Project management experience using agile methodologies.
