Cognisant is partnering with a leading UK housebuilder to appoint a Technical Manager into their Yorkshire business.
This opportunity offers genuine progression potential towards a future Technical Director position, making it particularly attractive to ambitious and capable individuals looking to step up in the medium term.
The role will suit someone with an engineering, infrastructure or technical background who is looking to step into a broader development-focused position across the full project lifecycle.
The Role
Working across multiple residential developments, the successful individual will support the coordination and delivery of schemes from pre-construction through to completion, covering areas such as:
* Infrastructure and engineering coordination
* Technical design management
* Highways, drainage and utilities
* Consultant and stakeholder management
* Section agreements and statutory approvals
* Coordination across land, commercial and production teams
This is intentionally a broad role, offering exposure beyond pure engineering or technical coordination and providing a strong platform for future leadership progression.
The Individual
We are keen to speak with individuals from housebuilding, residential engineering consultancies or infrastructure-led development environments who possess:
* Strong understanding of residential infrastructure and technical delivery
* Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and moving parts
* Commercial awareness and problem-solving capability
* Ambition to progress into a senior leadership role over time
