Description
The Accounts Assistant's responsibilities include:
Assist with the preparation and maintenance of financial records and reports.
Support the processing of invoices and expense claims accurately and promptly.
Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
Provide support in budget preparation and monitoring activities.
Ensure compliance with internal financial procedures and external regulations.
Respond to financial queries from internal and external stakeholders.
Assist with month-end and year-end financial close processes.
Contribute to the improvement of financial processes and systems.
Profile
A Successful Accounts Assistant Should Have
A relevant qualification in accounting or finance.
Experience working within the Accounting & Finance department or a similar role.
Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Knowledge of financial regulations and best practices.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
