Lead Driller

As SOCOTEC grows, so do our teams. We’re looking for a dedicated Lead Driller to join our Infrastructure division and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride.
We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and flexible Lead Driller to join our Infrastructure team. In this role, you’ll need the confidence to work independently, alongside the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team. A background in geotechnical site investigation, along with strong knowledge of drilling techniques and health & safety requirements, is essential to thrive in this position.
The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):
• Safely setting up and advancing boreholes in accordance with specifications
• Completion of in-situ testing and sampling to Eurocode 7 and British Standards
• Mentoring and training assistant drillers
Qualifications
To be a successful Lead Driller, you should be able to demonstrate:
• Level 2 Diploma Land Drilling – Lead Driller
• Valid blue CSCS skills card
• Full, clean UK driving licence
