We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Office Administrative Assistant to join our team in an independent special school.
Due to our school's growth, we are seeking a highly organised and detail focused Office Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills and a proactive approach to managing office operations. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth running of our office, providing support to staff, and maintaining effective communication within the organisation.
Responsibilities
* Manage daily office operations, ensuring an efficient and organised work environment.
* As the school receptionist, handle incoming calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
* Maintain accurate records through data entry and clerical tasks.
* Assist in the preparation of reports and documents using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications.
* Coordinate schedules, meetings, and appointments for team members, whilst acting as a personal assistant for the senior leadership team
* Organise and maintain filing systems, both electronic and paper-based.
* Provide administrative support to various departments as needed including relevant student administration such as closing registers, sending out attendance information, managing timetables, liaising with taxi companies.
Qualifications
* Proven office experience with a strong background in administrative roles.
* Proficient computer skills, including typing speed and accuracy.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks.
