Our client, a family-run construction company based in North London, is seeking a proactive and technically capable professional to join their growing commercial team. Evolving from a specialist restoration subcontractor into a full-service, multi-disciplinary contractor, they consistently deliver high-quality results across prestigious new-build and refurbishment projects—underpinned by over two decades of industry expertise and values. Their services include façade cleaning, feature stone and brickwork, stucco repairs, and new-build masonry—highlighting their versatility across a broad range of high-end residential, commercial, and public projects. Supported by a long-standing, multi-skilled workforce, they consistently deliver quality and craftsmanship at every stage. Key Responsibilities: Issue and manage enquiries to subcontractors Evaluate quotations and liaise with Commercial and Contracts Managers Draft subcontract documents and oversee interim/final payments Prepare bills of quantities and payment schedules Monitor costs, submit payment applications, and manage project expenditure Compile monthly cost/value reports for internal stakeholders Conduct site visits and liaise with clients and subcontractors Support with job costing, labour allocation, and data input Maintain accurate project records Accurate monthly forecasting and cost tracking Confidently challenge costs and resources where appropriate Timely delivery of reports aligned to the commercial calendar Work alongside the Commercial Manager, Senior Quantity Surveyor, and wider commercial/site teams What We're Looking For: Team-focused with a keen eye for detail Committed to accuracy and continuous improvement Strong interest in both new-build and bespoke refurbishment projects Excellent problem-solving abilities in bespoke construction environments Essential Skills & Qualifications: Degree in Construction (completed full-time or in final stages of part-time) Minimum 3 years of relevant experience Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word) Strong communication and time-management skills Able to meet tight deadlines in line with commercial schedules What’s on Offer: Starting salary up to £45,000 package Exposure to diverse small- and large-scale construction projects Collaborative, supportive work environment Balanced mix of site and office-based responsibilities Career growth and professional development opportunities If you're ready to make an impact in a varied and rewarding role, apply now to join a reputable and growing team.
