We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Bedfordshire to assist with the appointment of a Housing Inclusion Project Officer, on a 8.5-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Rate of Pay: £17.00 - £21.68 per hour Responsibilities: Promote new affordable housing schemes for residents aged 55, using multiple communication channels. Act as a key contact for interested tenants, enabling visits, viewings, and offering affordability advice. Support fast-tracked applications and smooth move-ins by liaising across housing teams. Respond to wider housing concerns raised during tenant contact and ensure appropriate follow-up. Record and report tenant interactions and insights to help guide future housing stock use. Requirements: Experience in housing management or a similar housing role. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build effective relationships with tenants, teams, and partner agencies. Understanding of housing allocation criteria (training will be provided). Confident in managing expectations and having sensitive conversations. Experience with safeguarding and supporting vulnerable individuals.
