Job Title: Audit Manager - Technology Infrastructure & Cloud
Salary: Edinburgh and Bristol £71,000 - £79,000 | London £87,500 - £97,000
Locations: Edinburgh, London & Bristol
Hours: Full-time
Working Pattern: Hybrid, involving at least two days per week at a hub location.
About this opportunity:
As an Audit Manager, you’ll contribute to delivering high-quality audits. Lead audits or parts of large audits with autonomy, leveraging understanding of business strategy, controls, and risks to provide independent assurance on control effectiveness.
You’ll also support the development of GA&CI through strategic audit focus, collaboration, and agile delivery.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
* Supporting the audit plan and managing individual audits.
* Assisting with control testing and identifying concerns.
* Building stakeholder relationships and making connections.
* Suggesting improvements in compliance processes.
* Supporting automation and AI initiatives for efficiency and innovation.
* Conducting research on external trends.
* Coaching team members and communicating effectively.
* Sharing insights and feedback to enhance delivery and impact.

What you’ll need:
* Experience in IT infrastructure security and resilience, including systems like UNIX/Linux, Windows, storage, backups, databases, and network devices.
* Knowledge of cloud technologies and software development practices.
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Project management skills to deliver audits on time and within budget.
* Data analytics experience and understanding of AI applications.
* Critical thinking to analyze risks and opportunities.
Additional useful experience:
* Applying data analytics for audit impact and risk monitoring.
* Professional qualifications like CISA, CISSP, or cloud certifications are a plus.
