This post is only for existing staff within NHS Grampian that are planning retirement or leaving a substantive post who wish to join the NMAHP Bank, you must have a current substantive role to join the NMAHP Bank internally.
To join the NMAHP Bank, you will be required to discuss with your substantive post line manager and they can complete an Internal Recommendation Form to recommend you to the NMAHP Bank. A copy of the Internal Recommendation Form can be found on the NMAHP Bank page on the NHS Grampian intranet site using the following link - Recruitment .
We accept internal recommendations for all Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Professional roles.
If you are retiring from your substantive post, your current line manager should submit the Internal Recommendation Form within 1 month prior to your termination date. This will ensure all paperwork can be completed ready for you to start working on the NMAHP Bank. If you have already terminated your post we will only consider your application if your termination date was within the last month.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR CANDIDATES
As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
