Join our dynamic Production Engineering team in Worthing, where your expertise will help drive quality, efficiency, and innovation across our manufacturing operations. What You Will Do • Responding swiftly to equipment breakdowns and process failures, diagnosing faults, and restoring production functionality. • Delivering the machine maintenance program across production equipment, robots, and plant machinery. • Identifying opportunities for risk reduction and process improvement within the manufacturing environment. • Supervising and developing direct reports, including work allocation, appraisals, and training. • Supporting weekend and late-shift work as required to maintain critical operations. What You Need to Be Successful • Mechanical Engineering qualification or equivalent time-served experience • 5 years in machine maintenance within a manufacturing environment • Experience in supervising and managing team performance. • Confidence in mentoring and supporting junior employees and apprentices. • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skill. • Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams. • Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and machine shop equipment. • Familiarity with CNC machines, robotics, and electromechanical systems would be advantageous.
