Job Title: Speech and Language Therapist (Adults)
Location: Care First – Pheasey, Walsall area, Birmingham
Salary: Up to £53,200 (depending on experience) plus £3,000 Welcome Bonus (Welcome Bonus is payable as one payment of £1,500 after completion of one month and a further payment of £1,500 upon completion of your final probation period. T&Cs Apply)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent - 52 weeks
Essential: Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle

Responsibilities
You will implement a holistic, therapeutic approach to helping our adults in their daily lives, ensuring they are safe, comfortable and healthy. You will undertake all aspects of Speech and Language Therapy clinical duties, adhere to professional and regulatory guidelines, carry out individual assessments and interventions, and prepare relevant documentation including reports. You will also provide information and training to staff, commissioners and other agencies as required.
Our Clinical Teams support services to maintain a nurturing environment where adults can flourish. We maintain a safeguarding culture and involve adults in decisions wherever possible.
We are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist who shares our vision to empower vulnerable people in the UK to be happy and to make their way in the world.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Speech and Language Therapy degree
* Registered with HCPC and RCSLT or RCOT
* 1–2 years of experience as a fully registered RCSLT member working in a similar setting
* Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities
* Ability to work independently as agreed under supervision
* Experience of multi-professional teams or services within the designated specialty
* Previous experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities
* Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle
