Job Overview
Outwood Academy Bydales is an 11-16 school located in the coastal village of Marske-by-the-Sea, close to the North York Moors National Park and with spectacular views of the coastline. We are extremely proud of our tradition of serving the families of the community of Marske and surrounding areas. Our recent Ofsted Inspection recognised the many strengths of the school as we secured judgements of Good across all areas. The report highlighted that we are 'an ambitious school with high standards', that 'Staff care deeply for pupils', that 'Pupils are happy and demonstrate industrious attitudes to learning' and that 'Pupils experience great success'.
Responsibilities
* Provide support to selected students across all year groups through individually tailored programmes of one to one tuition.
* Join a dedicated team of One to One tutors and contribute to a shared goal of putting students first.
* Prepare resources to meet the needs of the students and use resources as directed by the HoD or the Director of English.
Qualifications
* We welcome applications from people who hold qualified teacher status, or are a qualified HE or FE teacher, able to demonstrate a track record of effective teaching, or are able to demonstrate that you can work with individual pupils to progress their learning in English.
