Your responsibilities will include:
* As the primary contact for Operational Excellence you will partner with the Leadership Team to drive site-wide improvement initiatives.
* Lead Continuous Improvement events using methodologies such as 5S, Visual Management and Root Cause Analysis (DMAIC).
* Identify and deliver process improvement projects that enhance quality, reduce waste and improve efficiency.
* Develop and monitor performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of improvement initiatives
* Ensure all activities align with safety, quality, and cost objectives, contributing to overall plant performance and sustainability goals.
What you'll bring:
* Degree qualified in chemical, electrical, energy or mechanical engineering
* Proven experience in Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement or Lean Manufacturing within a production or industrial environment (this can be gained during an industrial placement or post grad)
* Strong knowledge of Lean tools and techniques (5S, Kaizen, DMAIC, Visual Management)
* Understanding of OPEX and CAPEX improvement processes
* Confidence to lead change and influence stakeholders at all levels
* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and confident communication skills
