Job Overview Our friendly team are seeking a motivated and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee the daily operations of our growing culinary establishment. The Kitchen Manager will play a vital role in maintaining high-quality food production, ensuring food safety standards are maintained while fostering a positive team atmosphere. Duties Food preparation and cooking processes to ensure consistency, quality, and presentation meet company standards Develop and implement specials incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all kitchen operations Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock to minimise waste and control costs Train new staff members on food preparation techniques, safety procedures, and customer service expectations Coordinate with front-of-house team to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction Enforce health & safety policies within the kitchen environment to prevent accidents or violations Organise staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours while maintaining work-life balance for team members Qualifications Proven supervising experience within a busy kitchen or restaurant environment Strong background in food production, culinary techniques, and food safety regulations Knowledge of restaurant operations, serving protocols, and customer service standards Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure Previous experience in food management roles preferred but not essential; relevant culinary qualifications are advantageous Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and quality in all aspects of kitchen management We value passionate individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments.
