About The Role
We are recruiting individuals to join our night shift team on a Full-Time, Permanent Contract to support our Warehouse in Yaxley.
As a Warehouse Operative, you will be supporting our Home Delivery operation by loading products from the warehouse into AO delivery vans ready to be delivered to our customers the next day.
1. Hourly Rate: £12.77
2. Hours: 4 on 2 off shift pattern working 11:00pm-7:30am (37.33 hours per week)
3. Location: Broadway Business Park, Yaxley, PE7 3EN
Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing
4. Working to deadlines unloading products from the trailers and loading onto 3.5t and 7.5t delivery vehicles using the correct process
5. Assigning the products to the correct delivery vehicles using pick sheets
6. Checking that trailers going back to Head Office are loaded correctly
7. Using the correct manual handling techniques and safe systems of work in line with H&S training
8. Comfortable with handling large appliances and completing heavy manual handling
9. Limit any potential damages by handling appliances in line with training
10. Reporting any accidents, product issues or damages
11. Other general warehouse responsibilities

While working it is important that we all work together to stay motivated throughout the shift, therefore you must be able to work independently and work well within a team.
12. Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential (full training is provided onsite)
