Reed are working with a College in Stoke and are seeking a Lecturer in Electrical Installation to inspire the next generation of professionals! You'll lead the planning, delivery, and implementation of top-tier electrical and related programs, spanning Levels 2 and 3, T-Levels, and Apprenticeship pathways. Day-to-day of the role:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences in electrical installation.
* Develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives.
* Facilitate learning through a variety of methods, including lectures, projects, workshops, and discussions.
* Engage with the latest developments in the field to ensure the curriculum and teaching strategies reflect current standards.
* Assess students’ progress by setting and marking coursework and exams.
* Participate in departmental and school meetings, parent meetings, and contribute to policy and curriculum development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* A teaching qualification or the willingness to earn one while employed.
* A Level 3 qualification in the electrical sector.
* Strong understanding of the latest developments in electrical installation.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students.
