Inspire Confidence Through Drama

Do you have a background in drama, theatre, or performing arts and a passion for working with children? We are looking for a Drama Teaching Assistant to bring creativity, confidence, and energy into the classroom.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves performing and wants to inspire pupils to express themselves, develop communication skills, and grow in confidence.


What You’ll Be Doing

* Supporting pupils through drama-based learning activities

* Using performance, role play, and storytelling to bring lessons to life

* Helping to build children’s confidence, teamwork, and self-expression

* Assisting in classroom activities, literacy, and communication development

* Supporting with school productions, assemblies, and creative projects

* Providing one-to-one and small group support where needed

* Acting as a positive role model and encouraging pupil participation


What We’re Looking For

* Experience working with children (school, youth theatre, tutoring, mentoring, clubs etc.)

* A passion for drama, theatre, or performing arts

* Creativity, confidence, and the ability to engage children in imaginative ways

* Empathy, communication, and teamwork skills

* Adaptability and initiative in a busy school environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
