Description Overview Wincanton are looking for a Transport Support Team Lead to join the Application Support Team. This is a 12-month fixed term contract. This role is responsible for the on-going support for Transport Products within the Wincanton (portfolio including Ortec OIR and ORD, Winsight, Paragon and E-docs). This role will support and manage the other Transport Support Analysts in the team. Using your knowledge of TMS transport products, you will support with complex queries and projects for new sites/contracts, while leading the team to deliver a high-quality service to the business. This is a hybrid role, ideally candidates will live in commutable distance to the Chippenham office. Core working hours are Monday to Friday, with the requirement of being on call during evenings and weekends, on a rotational basis (approx. 1 in 4 weekends). A premium is paid for on call hours. Salary £42,000 - £45,000 p.a depending on experience. How will you contribute? Supporting and managing the other Transport Support Analysts in the team. Support the execution of a set of daily / weekly / monthly tasks that will keep the Transport systems running efficiently and healthily. Support resolution of problems within control of the Deployment/Support Team and escalate issues outside control and authority. Support Transport related Changes for Patching, defect fixes and new functionality in Production systems Change Advisory Board attendance when requested Troubleshooting of known issues to discover root cause Provide SME support assistance to the Transport Deployment and Support Analysts in the resolution of issues and problems To effectively coordinate the team to support activities and carry out first line management support, including performance reviews, rota, annual leave cover. Facilitate and manage Incidents, Problems and Service Requests (including new users/new departments), ensuring timely responses. What will you bring? Experience in providing technical support for Transport System products and related applications. Strong knowledge of TMS transport tools.
