Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Instrument Technician located in Hull, East Yorkshire. The Instrument Technician will be responsible for the installation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems. Daily tasks include conducting inspections, ensuring system performance meets safety and efficiency standards, and assisting in troubleshooting faults in electrical and control systems. The role involves working closely with teams to deliver projects and optimize system performance for clients across various industries.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems.
* Knowledge of electrical systems, control systems design, and their installations.
* Familiarity with preventative maintenance and repair practices.
* Ability to interpret technical documentation, schematics, and system diagrams.
* Understanding safety and compliance requirements in engineering environments, including safe operating practices.
* Problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnostics and system optimization.
* Strong communication skills for teamwork and reporting technical issues.
* Relevant certifications or experience in instrumentation or electrical engineering disciplines.
