Positions: 30 hours and 35 hours
Role Purpose

The post holder would be based in the Galashiels team with a flexible approach to home and office working. We are an enthusiastic and friendly team with supportive management and regular supervision. We are looking at new ways of engaging with the community and taking a more preventative approach, e.g.: Community Led Support and Integration with Health. We are looking for candidates with transferrable skills to be able to work closely with statutory and voluntary teams to provide the best service for service users. You will need to have the highest professional standards, be emotionally mature, have a strong desire to help others and be able to show dignity and respect to all people. Opportunities for further training such as social work training and development in regard's Adult Protection and Mental Health Officer are available and supported through the supervision process.
Essential Qualifications
* Registration with the relevant professional body: Social Work, 2 years post‑qualifying experience in relevant field.
* Experience of working within a multi‑disciplinary context.
* A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post.
