About the client:Our client is a leading artistic and cultural institution, known for its world-class collections and engaging public programmes. They are looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to provide confidential, proactive support to the Director.
About the Executive Assistant role:This is a unique opportunity for a proactive, organised Executive Assistant to support a Director in the arts and culture space. This varied role demands exceptional organisational skills, discretion, and the ability to work confidently with senior stakeholders. The responsibilities include:
* Provide comprehensive support to the Director, including complex diary management and meeting coordination, and acting as first point of contact for the Director
* Support the coordination of priority projects and initiatives
* Oversee the management of all correspondence, on the Director's behalf
* Oversee the arrangement of the Director's travel and expenses
* Line management responsibility of the Director's Assistant
* Contribute to shared administrative support across the Executive Team, including ad-hoc assistance to other executive team members, as needed.
Required skills and experience:
* Demonstrable experience as an EA or PA supporting a senior leader within arts and culture is a strong preference
* Knowledge of, or demonstrable interest in, arts and culture is a strong preference
* Experience of handling confidential and sensitive information. Able to maintain a high level of discretion and professionalism
* Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and confident working with senior stakeholders
* Strong IT skills
* Proactive and flexible, able to remain calm under pressure
Additional information:
* Salary circa £42K, plus excellent benefits including pension contributions, cycle to work scheme, and generous holiday allowance.
* Central London location, with opportunities for hybrid working
* The core hours are 9 - 5
