A well-established organisation operating across the South West is seeking short-term administrative support during a period of change within its finance function. The business is known for its structured operations, collaborative working culture, and commitment to delivering essential services.
The Role
This is an immediate start opportunity for a Business Administrator to support the finance team on a temporary, ongoing basis. The role will initially be for approximately four weeks, with the potential to be extended. Working full time onsite in Exeter, you will play a key role in supporting day-to-day finance administration during the implementation of a new finance system, which is currently experiencing some operational challenges. A practical, adaptable approach and a good understanding of finance processes will be essential.
Responsibilities for the Business Administrator:
* Raising purchase requisitions and supporting invoice processing
* Carrying out general business and finance administration tasks
* Maintaining accurate records across finance systems and documentation
* Supporting the team during system changes and resolving day-to-day issues
Requirements for the Business Administrator:
* Previous experience in a business or finance administration role
* A strong finance mindset with confidence handling financial data
* Comfortable working with finance systems, particularly during periods of change
* Organised, adaptable, and able to work calmly in a fast-paced environment
