The company aims to recruit a Quality Engineer to strengthen their quality department. The role is ideal for an experienced quality engineer familiar with current product running changes and continuous improvement initiatives. Role & Responsibilities
1. Provide quality input for the development and update of Design FMEA and Process FMEA.
2. Assist in the design and production of prototype parts.
3. Manage the Customer and Supplier APQP system documentation.
4. Support the preparation and approval of Customer PPAP documentation; report writing and follow-up on Supplier PPAP submissions.
5. Develop Control Plans and Operating Instructions.
6. Collaborate with customers to implement effective quality actions.
7. Lead continuous improvement projects.
8. Handle customer concerns through NPI and mass production, adhering to customer-defined principles (8D).
9. Support ISO9001 audits.
10. Inspect components using manual measurement tools such as micrometers, callipers, height gauges, and thread gauges.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
1. Experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.
2. Knowledge of ISO/TS 16949 and ISO 14001 standards.
3. Experience with PPAP and APQP processes.
4. Auditing experience.
5. Previous experience as a quality engineer.
