You will be working for a large housing association which manages over 50,000 homes across the south. This is a 12-week temp to perm with perm role paying £26,208 with excellent benefits including 28-days holidays.
Your new role
The team are responsible for the cyclical upkeep of themunal areas to our customers. This covers a set geographical area and our customers includes market rent, shared ownership and independent livingmunities on many estates or the whole estate. They also provide a reactionary service where we have to deal with hazards which can be anything from dumped items to clearing snow on our independent living blocks.
The team are also responsible for the management of the trees and like to retain as many as possible or replant if any are removed. They believe that the trees play a big part in ourmunities by providing shade in the summer and promote a healthy wellbeing as well as offsetting our carbon footprint.
We're looking for a Grounds Maintenance Operative who will be responsible for the upkeep of the externalmunal areas, grass, shrubs and hedges.
You may also be required to undertake soft landscaping/minor tree work.
They will provide you with your uniform, a van fitted with a van vault, racking and inverter, a fuel card,pany tablet & mobile as well as the PPEyou will need to let you crack on with what you do best.

What you'll need:
• Practical amenity horticultural knowledge & experience
• PA1 and PA6AW qualifications (desirable, but not essential)
• NPTC certification or equivalent (desirable, but not essential)
• A full driver’s licence - Essential (with towing licence desirable)
