DCT Recruitment is looking for a permanent Estimator to join our ever growing client. Specializing in Construction, Civils, or Rail would be an advantage.
Working on a hybrid role if required.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for calculating the costs associated with building projects.
* Use blueprints and specifications to determine the required materials and labor needed for a project.
* Analyze market prices for materials and labor to ensure accurate estimates.
* Work closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure the project stays within budget.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and make adjustments to their estimates accordingly.
* Communicate effectively with team members and clients to provide accurate and timely estimates.
* Maintain detailed records of the estimate process, including material and labor costs.
* Multitask and prioritize various projects in order to meet deadlines.
* Responsible for negotiating terms and prices with subcontractors and suppliers.
* Have strong analytical and problem solving skills, as well as attention to detail.
