Overview
Paediatric Consultant role at DenialHost. Applications invited for a Consultant in Community Paediatrics. The main duties include the Medical Adoption Adviser role and possibly the Named Doctor for Looked After Children role. The post holder will work within a fully established MDT team and alongside other Community Paediatricians. The proposed job plan will consist of up to 7.5 PAs.
Job responsibilities
The Consultant will join the Consultant Team and will have a continuing responsibility for the care of the patients in their charge and for the proper functioning of the Directorate. In addition, they will undertake the administrative duties associated with the care of their patients and with the running of the Directorate.

Salary and Contract
Salary: £109,725 to £145,478 a year (dependent on experience). Contract: Permanent. Working pattern: Part-time.
Person Specification
* Primary Medical Qualification.
* Full GMC Registration.
* Entry onto the GMC Specialist Register (within 6 months from the date of AAC).
Desirable
* Higher Degree.
* Special skills training in the specialty.
Clinical Experience
* Evidence of experience in the specialty.
* Evidence of experience and skills in working with vulnerable children and their families.
