Residential – Darwin Farm, Shrewsbury
Compensation and Hours
£32,242 – £35,745 per annum, including 6–10 sleeps per month at £60 per sleep and an hourly rate of £13.45–£13.75 (depending on qualification). Salary is paid in 173 hours per month on a 2‑days‑on, 4‑days‑off shift pattern with sleeps. Overtime is available at an enhanced rate.
Essential Requirements
* Full UK driving licence
* Full right to work in the UK with no restrictions
* Values in line with Esland’s therapeutic, person‑centred approach to childcare
* Minimum age 21, due to industry regulations
* Previous childcare or support‑worker experience is advantageous but not essential

Role Details
Our home in Shrewsbury offers a nurturing and therapeutic environment for young people. The team supports them with domestic needs, socialisation skills, and engaging activities. We can provide educational placements in partnership with schools to offer personalised education plans.
