Job Title: Veterinary Receptionist
Location: My Pets Vets, Leigh
Job Type: Fixed Term for 12 months, Full-time
Salary: £25,646.40
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday‑Sunday (between 7am - 9pm)
An exciting opportunity has opened at My Pets Vets for an experienced and enthusiastic Client Care assistant to join our fantastic front‑of‑house team on a fixed‑term contract! Joining the Reception team at My Pets Vets means becoming a part of a supportive and growth‑oriented environment where your skills and dedication will be truly appreciated. The position will be on a shift basis, ranging between 7am and 9pm, with 1 in 4 weekends and bank holiday participation.
Duties
* Welcoming clients and their pets in a warm, professional manner.
* Managing the diary; booking appointments and surgical procedures.
* Answering a range of client questions via email and telephone.
* Pro‑active communication between clients and colleagues to ensure the day runs smoothly.
* Administration duties e.g. scanning paperwork, filling in forms.
* Processing prescription requests.
* Taking payments.
* Promoting offers and services.
* Ensuring that reception is clean and well‑stocked.
Personal Specification
* Experience of working within a customer‑facing role.
* Previous Reception experience (Highly desirable)
