Are you a caring and enthusiastic individual ready to support pupils both in class and on a one-to-one basis?
We’re currently working with a welcoming and well-regarded primary school in Cheam that is looking to appoint a full-time Teaching Assistant from September 2025. This is a varied and rewarding role where you’ll support the class teacher with day-to-day tasks while also providing targeted one-to-one support for a pupil with special educational needs (SEN).
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with children and wants to make a meaningful impact across different areas of school life.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Supporting the whole class during lessons, group work and activities
* Offering individualised support to a pupil with additional learning needs
* Assisting the teacher in maintaining a positive and productive classroom
* Helping to implement strategies from the SENCO and class teacher
* Encouraging inclusion and promoting independence among pupils
* Supporting classroom routines such as setup, transitions, and tidy-up
We'd Love to Hear from You If You Are:
* Enthusiastic, patient, and adaptable
* Passionate about education and helping children thrive
* Able to work as part of a team and follow guidance confidently
* Experienced with children in any setting (school, nursery, youth work – paid or voluntary)
* Interested in supporting pupils with SEN (training and guidance provided)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
