Storal is a nursery group with over 50 settings across England. The Digital Systems Programme has implemented a new Finance system (Sage Intacct), a new Human Resources system (Deel), and extended the use of the Nursery Management system (Famly) and Customer Relationship Management system (HubSpot). The role is to join the team, handover from the transformation team, and drive the applications forward while ensuring business-as-usual activities continue smoothly and new processes and systems are used effectively.
Overview
Business Applications Manager – Storal, Long Eaton, England, United Kingdom. Hybrid role; typically 2 days on-site at one of our Early Years settings or Head Office.
Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week), Permanent
Salary: Up to £50,000 depending on experience plus performance bonus
Location: Hybrid, typically 2 days on-site at any of our Early Years settings, or Head Office location
Responsibilities
* Work with third party software partners to become the functional expert for core business applications, managing configurations and ensuring optimal performance
* Manage integrations, troubleshoot basic issues, and work with support partners on more complex problems
* Chair and own the Design Authority, guiding decisions around business applications
* Plan and coordinate releases of new functionality or processes across all business applications
* Run small projects from business case to closure, defining plans and coordinating activities across workstreams
* Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to define processes that meet design standards and business needs
* Identify opportunities to improve core business processes, leveraging technology and best practices
* Act as a point of contact for end-users, providing support, training, and communication about system changes
* Prepare communications and training collateral as needed
Key Skills And Experience
* Experience with HubSpot, Deel, Sage Intacct, Famly, or similar platforms, ideally from a system administration or configuration perspective
* Strong understanding of HR, Finance, and Operations processes in a nursery management context with deskless workers
* Experience working across business and technical teams, including IT, with knowledge of IT service management processes
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; ability to influence and educate users
* Exposure to a systems implementation project in any capacity
