Serco Limited. Permanent, Full Time. Field Based role covering Birmingham. Salary £24,750 - £30,000 per annum + Vehicle + Excellent Corporate Benefits Package.
Here at Serco, we work with Asylum Accommodation and Support Services to assist individuals through the asylum system, which includes providing temporary accommodation.
Responsibilities
* As the Maintenance Operative your role is key in ensuring all requested repairs, reactive or proactive and pre planned (via manager), are carried out to the required standard and within our SLA deadlines.
* Be responsible for Health & Safety of yourself and all users of the property during, and after works have been undertaken and completed.
* Purchase and manage materials using a company account card from approved Serco suppliers only.
* Vehicles provided by the company will be inspected regularly by employees and kept in a professional and clean condition.
* Flexible Working pattern: Mon to Fri 7.5 hours per day between 08:00 and 18:00 to meet operational needs.
* On-Call Requirements & Out of Hours Working: Undertake out of hours on call duties, working on a rota basis to ensure 24/7 emergency cover as per contractual responsibilities.
Qualifications & Experience
* Previous maintenance experience within fields relating to joinery, kitchen fitting, bath fitting, general fitting, plumbing, painting & decorating, etc.
* You will be a highly motivated individual who can manage your own workflow as well as work effectively within a team when necessary.
