Breakbulk events are leading global gatherings in the project cargo and breakbulk industries, with three events in the Middle East, Europe and America. They offer live content, education days, workshops and networking to generate new business and strengthen relationships.
Job Purpose: As a Senior Marketing Executive for the Breakbulk Portfolio, you will work with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing strategies that resonate with our target audience and drive business growth. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Operations and Digital Marketing, to create compelling marketing collateral, execute promotional campaigns and support customer engagement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the development and execution of marketing plans and campaigns to promote the Breakbulk Portfolio
* Manage and monitor social media channels (LinkedIn, X, Facebook): create engaging content, schedule posts, respond to comments and messages to increase brand awareness and foster community engagement
* Own the end-to-end promotion of the Breakbulk Awards across all four shows; develop and execute campaigns to drive awareness, engagement and entries; collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maximise visibility
* Aid in creating visual assets for marketing materials (flyers, banners, infographics, social media graphics) and work with the design team to modify templates, resize images and add branding elements per brand guidelines
* Manage relationships and delivery of media partnerships; liaise with designers, provide collateral and monitor execution; build partnerships to elevate data potential
* Manage marketing inbox, share leads and inquiries with the sales team
* Collaborate with operations and sales to track sponsorship deliverables and ensure marketing actioned responsibilities
* Support Marketing Managers and Head of Marketing with day-to-day department tasks
Skills and Experience Required
* Agile mindset and ability to work in fast-paced, cross-functional teams
* Excellent copywriting skills with examples of emails, website and print content
* Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, to convey ideas clearly to diverse audiences
* Experience developing and executing digital B2B marketing initiatives to generate leads
* Experience creating both face-to-face and digital customer experiences
* Proven relationship-building skills across the business to facilitate goals and share best practices
* Ability to deliver presentations clearly and engage audiences using various media
