Offer description

We are currently looking for enthusiastic and self-motivated candidates for the position of Housekeeping Associate. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning hotel bedrooms, bathrooms, and public areas, ensuring sufficient linen availability for daily operations, and may also be required to complete additional cleaning tasks in the Back of House.


Responsibilities:

1. Clean hotel rooms to required standards and deadlines.
2. Complete regular cleaning routines as per training.
3. Change bed linen and towels, make beds.
4. Perform high and low dusting and polish furniture.
5. Clean bathrooms, including vanity, sink, bath/shower, tiles, glass, and walls.
6. Vacuum and mop floors.
7. Re-stock guest supplies such as shampoo, soap, and brochures.
8. Re-stock drinks in the minibar.
9. Re-stock and clean equipment used.


Additional Duties:

* Ensure the delivery and collection of linen in a timely manner.
* Maintain linen cupboards in a tidy, organized, and stocked condition.
* Keep service areas clean and tidy.
* Attend housekeeping meetings and follow instructions.
* Manage keys responsibly.
* Report health and safety hazards.
* Perform any other duties assigned by management.


Public Area Cleaning:

* Clean designated public areas to required standards and deadlines.
* Complete regular cleaning routines.
* Vacuum, mop floors, and clean windows.
* Dust, polish furniture, and restock supplies.
* Attend meetings and communicate relevant information.
* Handle keys and report hazards.
* Assist with special projects as assigned.


Qualifications & Skills:

* Experience in hotel housekeeping preferred.
* Willingness to work flexible hours.
* Ability to work under pressure with good organizational skills.
* Confident, professional, and welcoming personality.
