Ganger / Groundworks Supervisor - Hampshire (Tier 1 to Southern Water)
We are seeking an experienced Ganger to lead a groundworks team delivering Tier 1 works for Southern Water across Hampshire. This role covers reactive diversion tasks, R&M on wastewater assets, and planned installations into the foul system. You'll supervise site activities, manage safety, and support work on live, under-pressure water pipes.
Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee groundworkers on site
Coordinate excavation, reinstatement, and all daily tasks
Support reactive diversion and R&M works
Supervise work on under-pressure water pipes
Ensure safe systems of work, compliance, and quality
Liaise with supervisors, engineers, and clients
Requirements:
Proven experience as a ganger/working supervisor
Strong background in utilities/water groundworks
CSCS (Gold or relevant), NRSWA, CPCS/NPORS desirable
Full UK driving licence preferred
Strong communication and leadership skills
