SEN Teacher Location: Birmingham, West Midlands Job Type: Full-time Salary: £140 - £190 per day (depending on experience & qualifications) About the Role: Teach Match is seeking a passionate and skilled SEN Teacher to work in specialist schools and alternative provisions across Birmingham and surrounding areas. Whether you're an experienced SEN Teacher or a qualified teacher looking to transition into special education, we want to hear from you Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils' individual needs Support students with a range of SEN including ASD, SEMH, PMLD, SLD, and MLD Develop and adapt resources to suit diverse learning styles and needs Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress using EHCP targets and academic outcomes Create a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment Work collaboratively with support staff, SENCOs, therapists, and families Promote emotional regulation, independence, and positive behaviour Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS) Experience teaching pupils with SEN (desirable but not essential for the right candidate) Strong understanding of EHCPs and personalised learning Excellent behaviour management and communication skills Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply through Teach Match) A nurturing, patient, and resilient approach to teaching Why Work with Teach Match?
