Head Chef
Keswick | £50,000 – £55,000 + bonus + accommodation
We’re working with a leading luxury hotel in Keswick who are looking for a talented Head Chef to lead their kitchen team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a fine-dining brasserie and banqueting operation, producing exceptional dishes for weddings, events, bar meals and light lunches – all in one of the most stunning locations in the Lake District.

What you’ll be doing:
•Leading and motivating a brigade of 10 chefs, setting high standards across all services.
•Driving menu development and innovation while maintaining exceptional food quality and presentation.
•Managing all kitchen operations including P&L, GP, menu costing, wage budgeting and purchasing.
•Ensuring compliance with food safety, allergens, COSHH and health & safety regulations.
•Delivering exceptional dining experiences across fine dining, casual bar meals and large events.

What we’re looking for:
•Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Head Chef within a 4-star or award-winning luxury hotel.
•Strong leadership skills – able to inspire and develop your team.
•Excellent financial and organisational skills, with a commercial approach.
•Passion for pushing culinary boundaries and delivering consistent high standards.
•Flexible, hands-on approach suited to a busy hospitality environment.

•£50,000 – £55,000 salary + annual bonus
•45-hour contract (overtime paid)
