Senior Project Manager (London & Home Counties)

The Role
We are seeking an experienced and high-caliber Senior Project Manager to join a leading UK Tier 1 construction firm. As a key leader within our London and Home Counties business, you will take full ownership of high-value projects from inception to completion, ensuring excellence in safety, quality, and client satisfaction.
This role requires a leader who can balance the technical rigors of site management with the commercial acumen needed to manage multi-million-pound contracts.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership: Manage all aspects of the construction contract to a successful conclusion, meeting all time, cost, and quality KPIs.
Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for customers, consultants, and public stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery.
Safety & Quality: Drive a best-in-class health, safety, and environmental culture on-site, ensuring zero defects at handover.
Financial Rigor: Oversee project budgets, monitor expenditure, and manage risks/opportunities to maximize resource utilization.
Continuous Improvement: Implement corporate policies and promote initiatives that enhance supply chain performance and project efficiency.
Candidate Requirements
Experience: Proven track record as a Project Manager in the Main Contracting market.
Project Scope: Must have experience managing projects individually in the £10m to £80m range.
Sector Expertise: Previous experience in Education, Healthcare, Leisure, or Life Sciences is highly desirable.
Procurement: Strong understanding of 2-stage tenders and pre-construction involvement.
Education: HNC/HND or Degree in Construction Management (or equivalent).
