About the Role
Based in Twickenham, West London, as the NPD Manager EMEA, you will lead a team of project managers to deliver a diverse, innovative portfolio of new products and/or changes to existing products from concept through to launch. You will co-ordinate cross-functional teams to deliver product introduction and change projects on time, to budget and in line with scope.

The NPD Manager EMEA will also be active in investigating the feasibility of new and emergent packaging formats, beverage types and other product innovations to help deliver to Treasury Collective and Penfolds NPD pipeline ambitions for medium to long term incremental growth.

This role will be offered on a fixed-term contract basis, ending in June 2026.


Key Responsibilities

* People Management:
o Development Plans, KPO and Goal Setting for each direct report
o Allocation of projects to project managers, constantly reviewing NPD pipeline to ensure sufficient coverage for project delivery
* Process Delivery:
o Centrally project managing product change from concept to launch, ensuring all steps in the process have been adhered to
o Assessing whether projects are “gate ready” before they are submitted for approval at the fortnightly gate meetings. Collating pre-reads and distributing outcomes and follow up actions of each Gate Meeting
o Assess all products according to the defined Scorecard:
+ Design to Value product specification in the Product Brief
+ NPD Assessment Matrix to ensure it complies with business strategy
* Time Management:
o Alignment on prioritisation of projects across both Penfolds and Treasury Collective Business Units, developing and managing highly complex end to end project timelines
o Understanding the critical path and identifying opportunities to fast track and strengthen execution
* Risk Management:
o Objectively measuring risk (RAG status), working with key stakeholders to develop mitigation plans to stay on track
o Provide feedback to Marketing Lead for each Gate 4 (Post Launch Review) to ensure all Supply risks are adequately explored and any learning are incorporated into a continuous improvement of NPD delivery
* Stakeholder Management:
o Coordinating cross-functional, cross-regional and Global project teams, as well as coordinating regular project team WIP’s
o Influencing key stakeholders to ensure project robustness at each gate
o Utilising & maintaining the “Kiosk” which is a collaborative online tool for project teams to efficiently manage product change initiatives
o Work with the broader Supply team to align on project feasibility, identification of constraints and any other material elements crucial to project delivery to ensure lead times are robust and deliverable
* Product Set-up and Business Comms:
o Consolidating cost inputs to provide COGS
o Working with GBS to set up and update product information in systems including BOMs
o Communication on material risks to project delivery to broader project team from time to time as they arise
* Innovation and Supply Capability:
o Leveraging global teams to keep up to date with the current pipeline in the Global Innovation
o Executing the BAU delivery post innovation commercialisation of new packaging and beverage formats
o Alignment with Global Innovation team on pipeline priorities across NPD and Innovation to ensure a clear line of accountability for commercialisation of new packaging and beverage development capability
* Sustainability
o Assisting with Global Packaging Council initiatives and implementation of regional activities as required, and assist with in-market investigations of new and emerging sustainable formats
o Manage and align on crossovers between Global Packaging Council initiatives and regional commercial and marketing initiatives, feeding local market insights and developments into the Global Packaging Council


What We're Looking For

We are looking for a high-performing, process-oriented NPD Manager Strong with experience of managing projects across multiple functions using project management methodology, and experience in launching new products for fast paced businesses.

* Bachelor’s degree in business or other tertiary degree
* Project Management Qualification (Prince or Agile)
* Stakeholder management, influencing, and decision-making skills
* To be confident, detail-orientated, organised, collaborative, and hard-working
* The ability to work well in a multi-task environment and within constraints of deadlines
* Experience with project management software favourable e.g. Microsoft Project
* Strong computer skills with the ability to quickly learn new systems and reasonably complicated processes
