We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly skilled Building Services Manager to join our friendly team.
Responsibilities
* Maintain the school and its grounds to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
* Manage the security, maintenance and health and safety of the whole school site.
* Ensure the school is clean, warm, safe and secure.
* Conduct statutory testing and carry out risk assessments as per regulations.
* Liaise and manage contractors while on site.
* Work independently, manage priorities and complete jobs to the highest standard.
* Demonstrate a flexible, positive and “can do” attitude.
* Recognise that the post involves lone working.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Experience working within a school and understanding the role of a site manager.
* Good attendance record.
* Ability to work under pressure and exercise initiative.
* Strong understanding of health and safety and statutory testing.
* Self‑motivated, flexible and positive.
* Good communication skills and the ability to manage contractors.
* Good attendance record is a must.
