Main Duties/Responsibilities
1. Delivery of objectives associated with individual projects (App. 1.)
2. Research and analyse training and standards issues on a national and regional basis.
3. Develop training and standards proposals considering national and regional differences and requirements.
4. Present proposals in written, oral, and visual formats to diverse audiences at all levels, individually or in groups.
5. Negotiate and develop partnership agreements to deliver cost-effective and efficient training and standards solutions, and manage their delivery performance.
6. Develop and implement plans to ensure achievement of key responsibilities within the allocated project area.
7. Monitor and progress the achievement of project objectives, taking corrective actions when necessary.
8. Manage project budgets and report on performance.
9. Identify and develop streams of non-levy funding, grants, and partnership opportunities.
10. Assess health and safety risks related to the division, implementing necessary preventative measures.
11. Represent CITB NI on internal and external committees and meetings across the UK and Ireland.
12. Assist the Director in developing, implementing, and monitoring organizational strategy, operational plans, budgets, and Balanced Score Cards.
13. Maintain current knowledge of management practices and issues relevant to the industry and project management roles.
14. Qualifications: Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject.
15. At least 1 year of experience in project management, including planning, monitoring, and reporting using standard templates.
16. Strong project management skills.
17. Excellent communication skills, including oral, written, and presentation abilities.
18. Organizational skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team under tight deadlines.
19. Ability to positively influence others and build effective business networks.
20. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and email management.
21. Valid driving license and access to transportation.
Personal Commitments
* Availability to travel within the UK and Ireland.
* Willingness to work outside normal hours as required.
