We're looking for an energetic and detail-driven QA Technician to join our Quality team at our Lincoln Way site. You'll be right
at the heart of production, ensuring our finished products meet exacting customer, legal, and safety standards—every single time.
Job Title: QA Technician - Chilled Food Manufacturing
Location: The Compleat Food Group, Lincoln Way, Clitheroe, Lancashire, BB7 1QD
Working Hours: Monday - Friday 14:00 - 22:00
Pay: £15.42 p/h
Reporting To: QA Manager

What you'll be doing
As a QA Technician, you'll be accountable for maintaining and driving high standards of quality and food safety across the
Factory. Your Role Will Include
Quality & Compliance
Driving high quality product and packaging standards
Carrying out compliance checks on finished products, raw materials, packaging, artwork and sleeves
Conducting gas, pH, packaging, label, weight and component checks
Performing sensory testing on raw materials and finished products
Preparing chemical and microbiological analysis in line with scheduled plans
Completing allergen, CCP and production compliance checks
Supporting and implementing corrective actions following non-conformances
Undertaking internal audits to ensure compliance with BRC, HACCP, legal and customer standards
Factory & Technical Support
Environmental swabbing, water testing and air plate sampling
Temperature monitoring of products and factory areas
Calibration of all CCP measuring equipment
Supervising the end-of-AM shift clean where required
Attending Daily, Weekly and Monthly operational meetings
Coaching & Collaboration
Coaching Production teams on:
Communicating clearly across departments to identify and resolve issues quickly
Being part of a united QA & Production team focused on 100% plan adherence
Organising and facilitating product sensory panels
What We Are Looking For
Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene (essential)
Level 1 or 2 HACCP
Essential Hygiene & Chemical Awareness
ESOL Entry Level 2 or equivalent (desirable)
Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment
Experience in a Quality Assurance role (chilled food desirable but not essential)
Good understanding of BRC standards and food safety legislation
Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail
Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
