From our engaged beginnings producing puncture repair kits for British and Canadian airborne folding bikes in 1940, we've grown into a powerhouse, now manufacturing over 15 million maintenance items per year at our factory on the banks of the River Humber in Barton-upon-Humber, North Lincolnshire. Location: Barton-upon-Humber, North Lincolnshire
Contract: Temporary, with the opportunity to become permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 4:00pm and Friday: 7:00am – 2:00pm (as required)
The Role:
As a Production Operative at Weldtite, you'll be key in ensuring our high-quality bicycle maintenance products are manufactured efficiently and consistently. You'll work on the shop floor, contributing to the assembly, repair, and packaging of items that serve cyclists around the globe—from casual riders to elite professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate, monitor, and maintain production machinery safely and efficiently.
Prepare and assemble components according to set work instructions and quality standards.
Inspect products throughout the production process, addressing any defects or inconsistencies.
Collaborate with the team to meet daily production targets.
Clean and maintain your workstation and equipment.
Report any machinery faults, stock issues, or production concerns.
Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance productivity and product quality.
What We're Looking For:
Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment (desirable but not mandatory).
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Good physical fitness and manual dexterity.
A positive, team-oriented attitude.
Willingness to learn, follow processes, and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
Reliability and punctuality are essential.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.21-£12.58 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
